STACKED SALADS

What’s the best way to pack a salad to-go? Stack it in a jar! Start with your dressing and the moistest ingredients at the bottom. Then layer the other ingredients on top, finishing with the lettuce. Place any ingredients that would get soggy like nuts, croutons, etc. in a sealable bag and rest on top of the lettuce. Secure the lid and refrigerate. Once you’re ready to eat, dump contents onto a plate and enjoy!

 

Roasted Veggie Delight

  • 2-3 TBL Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

  • 1/2 cup cubed mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup sliced grape tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup sliced Persian cucumbers

  • 1/2 cup roasted cauliflower

  • 1 cup lettuce

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds in a sealable bag to ensure freshness  

Sweet Greens

  • 2-3 TBL Asian Chicken Salad Dressing

  • 1/2 cup diced apples

  • 1/2 cup cubed peaches

  • 1/2 cup Persian cucumbers, sliced

  • 1/4 cup blueberries

  • 1 cup butter lettuce

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds in sealable bag to ensure freshness

 

Chicken Caesar Salad

  • 2-3 TBL Caesar Dressing

  • 1/2 cup sliced grilled chicken

  • 1/4 cup parmesan shavings

  • 1 cup Romain lettuce

  • 1/2 cup Croutons in sealable bag to ensure freshness
